It's funny, I write in this genre, but I didn't connect with the characters well. I think because I AM very much a huge football fan, (not college though but Pro NFL) I did not connect with Cassie's personality and distaste toward the sport. It was also a fairly predictable story line. I did actually appreciate the author touching on the temptations of the coaches because that is real life. What I really wanted to see was a more in depth look into the spiritual growth of both characters. While they both overcame many personal obstacles, the spiritual growth was more assumed? It was mentioned that they attended church together, but I wished there were more scenes regarding that part of their relationship. The story focused so much on football and the college game atmosphere. I didn't particularly see evidence of a spiritual growth. But overall, it was well written and cute. I enjoyed your review.
