I have a hard time choos...Sounds like a great read! I have a hard time choosing just one christian historical fiction book, as I've read so many. I identify with the Irish immigrants and also with pioneer/wagon train and war stories. I have also come to need the Christian influence in a story. I have read some non-Christian books that did not have objectionable content, but without the clear Christian message they fell somewhat short. That being said, that's what makes my favorite historical novels my favorites! And I never get enough :)<br />raeray2 at yahoo dot comRobin Ennis Willsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07220536622739826161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9185935496985321066.post-39027415190485241062014-05-11T12:36:09.469-04:002014-05-11T12:36:09.469-04:00Hmmmm.... Just one.... what a problem. However, ...Hmmmm.... Just one.... what a problem. However, I think my favorite would have to be "The Key to Zion," of the Zion Chronicles by Brock and Bodie Thoene. It was the first Christian series I would read as a new Christian and it opened up so many new ideas for me. I got my husband to read them also and he never read for pleasure, but he does now. That was so many years ago, yet I will never forget the wonder of the story.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02626986144224416488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9185935496985321066.post-35109002077708611732014-05-11T11:16:43.549-04:002014-05-11T11:16:43.549-04:00My favorite: Gone With a The WindMy favorite: Gone With a The WindJeanette's Thoughtshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17516886383862295579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9185935496985321066.post-87414280437211913742014-05-11T10:37:46.324-04:002014-05-11T10:37:46.324-04:00My favorite historical novel is A Voice in the Win...My favorite historical novel is A Voice in the Wind (and actually the rest of the story in An Echo in the Darkness) from the Mark of the Lion series! kosterbind (at) gmail (dot) comKelly O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17073660398672444027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9185935496985321066.post-10822031711199317622014-05-11T00:25:02.504-04:002014-05-11T00:25:02.504-04:00My favorite historical novels have to be the Littl...My favorite historical novels have to be the Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder books although I do love reading books about WWII and a lot of Amish fiction (historical or not).
